About
The Renault Scénic II was introduced into the UK in September 2003, replacing the previous successful Scénic MPV range. The new model takes its styling cues from its sister car, the controversially-styled Mégane. Design innovations include a keyless card entry system, automatic headlights and wipers, and an assortment of handy storage compartments being offered.
The engine range is essentially carried over from the previous Renault Scénic, but all units feature upgrades to boost engine power, while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. In the new car, the petrol engines are 16-valve double overhead camshaft designs, with the 1.6 litre unit having variable valve timing (VVT).
The aim of this Renault Scénic II manual is to help you get the best value from your car by providing information on routine maintenance and servicing, with a logical course of action and diagnosis when random faults occur.
